GR86 GR86 Delivery Tracking and Collection thread

I messaged Toyota online to see if there was any firmer dates on my order. I received the response below. FYI I was originally advised early to mid 2024:

Whilst I am unable to provide you with an exact ETA, we are seeing vehicles arrive slightly sooner than expected. I would anticipate that your vehicle will not arrive as late as 2024, but it still likely to be the second half of this year. As soon as we have any more accurate information we will of course let you know, and your Vehicle Order Tracker will update.

It might be earlier on this thread, but did someone have a way of telling what cargo ship their car might be on (for tracking it) ?
 
Hi, sorted out part ex / finance today, but not given a delivery date. Just checked MyT and seen this and no longer have any tracking details on the App (it was showing Derby this morning). Has this happened to anyone else? Could it mean I'm about to be told it's at the dealers showroom?

Same here. My car is physically at Jemca Bracknell ready for PDI etc. My only concern is Toyota Finance, as they are struggling to propose for Q1 2023 🙄... somebody needs to tell Jeff from Retail Finance to update his Excel pronto!

I noted the VIN back in the day and added it to MyT. The car was supposed to be delivered at the beginning of the month to the dealership and I already paid for it 3 weeks ago. I just got a notification that the car was removed from MyT and yes - it's gone from the purchased section. I assume it means the vehicle was actually handed over to some other customer...

It's 4th of Jan, and no car in sight. I got a response to my email that they are hoping that my car will arrive at some point in the new year and radio silence since then. Seems like the car was reallocated to someone else. Quite annoyed given I made the payment in Nov 😡

Oh that's odd. I called them yesterday and they sent over finance papers to sign with no problems. Spoke to the dealer today and he said that everything had gone through.
Maybe I was proposed again at the start of December when they said my car was imminent.
 
Anyone from a buy time of c10:10 on the launch day still waiting for their car, Im sure I wont be the only one but starting to feel a bit left out now!
My car has been in the UK since early June and Derby since July but ETA from TOL has moved back a month each time Ive called not to mention they cant give any specific delivery timeline anyway. Starting to get worried! :confused:

Sorta - I've completed all the finance stuff and just waiting for registration and a pick-up date... Hopefully next week.
 
That seems mighty odd, @SJR202 ... For reference, I'm @10:19, just paid full deposit, and am aiming for Saturday handover.

I would defo chase as you paid so long ago.
 
Forgot to mention I also was asked to pay c£4k on 29/11 (they had me down as finance incorrectly which I moved to cash) so that deposit is paid but not received any paperwork or request for further payment since.
I do however have a VIN and Reg number provided to me via TOL, so it makes me hopeful there is a car allocated to me.

Out of interest how long do they sit in Derby before they start being declared a barn find? :ROFLMAO: Ive visions of it being covered in ivy and mice nesting in the engine bay!
