GR86 Wiper Blades

Anyone who's taken delivery have issues with their wipers? My passenger side wiper likes to miss a specific area right in the middle of the windscreen which is quite sizeable. Its very much in the wipe area so it shouldn't be having no affect. I can't take pictures atm as its getting ceramic coated, only just had time to post about it now.

Are they making good contact with the windscreen? Has any ceramic coating been applied to the glass itself?

I'd try removing them, cleaning rubber with some IPA and refitting to see if it makes any difference.

YES! I had exactly the same!
I assumed it was because the weather was just so cold, the rubber was stiff. I gave the blade a quick wipe which improved it but it was the same the next day. I vowed not to worry about it, but now you've posted a thread about it, it will of course be something I obsess about.

I also can't check right now, as my car is away getting ceramic coated as well. Are you me?

If they are the same as other Toyotas they are generally , I believe the GRY a guys had issues and our CHR , plus demos and loan cars all squeaked badly. Shifted to Bosch Aero twin , clean screen and no squeaks

First upgrade on the GRY was wiper blades to Bosch.

No ceramic coating, was from the dealer without any cleaning done. Its hard to explain, but at the start of the wipe path its fine, but then for a fifth of the wipe cycle theres a puddle shaped blotch, oddly inconsistant. I'll try giving it a clean when the car is back.

I did the exact same with my GT86, they were terrible. Might have to do the same if a clean up doesn't work.
