I was looking some information about It but didnt find.
Talking about circuit pack on PS4s what is for you the best tyre pressure? Normal dry condition.

Thank you. Will check because when i caught the car at dealer tyres were with 2,8 bar 😒. I left them acording standard but still didnt check properly if the car works as i expect.

Mine was above this suggested pressure too. Maybe they put some more into it for safety during the transport on the ship?
Can you trust the sensors or is it better to check pressure manually?

Yes over inflated during transport. You can trust the sensors.

so it seems to be not unusual that you get the car from the dealer and no one there lowered pressure to the manufacturers recommendation ? Got mine with 2,7 bar. then i remembered reading somehwere "check pressure on pickup"

wonder if they have a "handover to customer" checklist LOL

I think they have a checklist but tyre pressures aren’t on it 🤣

Read on an Aussie forum some people are running 38psi or 2.6 bar. The context was around soft sidewall tyres like the PS5 which are soggy at 32. I run my AD08R at 32 and the R888R on the track between 28 and 32 depending on the usual. When I picked up the car from uncle Toyota once the tyres were 40 psi or 2.8 bar. I noticed straight away and drove to a mate's workshop and dropped them back.

We don't have sensors in Oz.

@Lauren what are you running in the V107s?

Lower pressure gives:
More
  • Grip
  • Comfort
  • Fuel use
  • Sidewalls rolling over
Less
  • Feedback

High pressure the opposite.

Difference front rear can also affect grip balance.

I'm at 2,4 bar 34psi all round on my current 235 17"

I'm just running stock pressures on the road. At my last sprint at Cadwell on the 8th October, given the low track temp, I opted not to lower the pressures as I normally do. I saw an increase over the day's sprinting of 0.1 bar which is not much really, illustrating that the track temp remained low despite a very mild and fairly warm day at around 16C. The car performed brilliantly and I went 1.5 seconds faster than my previous best last year. No rolling of the shoulders either.

Obviously the very new tyres did help, but V107's coped very well. I'm tempted to do the same at the Toyota track day at the end of November, though I will keep an eye on pressures as track days tend to get the tyres hotter than one lap at a time when you are sprinting. I do think the sidewalls on the V107's are likely stiffer than the PS4S and obviously stiffer than the F1 Super Sports.

At the moment i use 2,2 front and 2,0 bar rear and It is quite grippy :)
