With cars now being liberated from behind barbed wire fences it’s looking like the beginning of the end for Zoo Company on this particular campaign 👍 Sadly some did not make it ☹️ But those that went through the tough times of “The Online“ campaign together the bond will last forever, particularly when we have reunions 😎

Zoo Company stopped accepting new recruits after @Seano took delivery on 05.12.2022. To get your Dog Tags just mention Zoo Company in your own thread in the GR86- Members Cars forum , of which @drz252 is the first recipient.

Collected my brothers car this evening, with all the hassle going on with Toyota UK and not being able to collect the car at the weekend we wanted to get it as soon as possible, myself and my brother were able to finish work early today, so we made the 50 mile trip to Macclefield to collect the car from RRG. By the time we arrived it was 5:30, so completely black outside. Thankfully the garage had moved the car into the workshop, so we could get a good look around it, inspect the paint and fit the number plates, this also gave me the opportunity to take some photos (in Members Car thread - link below). Once the hand over had been complete (a signature on an ipad), were we on our way home. The satnav (Android Auto / Google Maps) decided to take us on a nice scenic route home, which made for a very interesting first drive in the car as the roads had just been gritted (), but thankfully they were mostly quiet so we could take it easy and leave a large gap to any cars infront, especially as this would be my brothers first RWD experience. We also had a 5 mile detour as one of the main roads was shut, which google maps wasn't aware of, which added to the fun. The car is now safely parked on the driveway at home, where it'll now sit until we can book it in to be detailed. There is quite alot of left over residue from the protective transport film, this will definitely need some Tar & Glue removing throwing at it and polishing. It'll also be having a full front end PPF done at the same time and I'm going to convince my brother to have the side skirts done, purely for the getting in and out of the car, as it's far to easy to rub your leg on the side skirt.

Now that we've recieved the car I made my brother sign up to the forum, here is his first post in the Members Cars sub-forum, please go say hello.

I drove the Marshalls Gatwick car earlier. My dealer is Horsham but they kindly brought the car over from Gatwick for a couple of hours for me to try.

Haha can’t make this up. I’ve been trying to arrange a test drive for weeks from Gatwick.

Constantly get we’ll call you back with no return call. So turned up and told its not registered, we’ll call you back to arrange drive and but yet they’ll happily move it to another dealer 🤦🏽‍♂️

There are 6 cars on the list which have been delivered, have I missed any🤔 Only half the demonstrators so far and some Still not showing on the DVLA a database so possibly not registered yet🤷‍♂️

Same! Given up on the test drive as my car has now been with them for 2 days and they still cant give me a pickup date

Two days! Hope they sort out the PDI for your car soon! I am convinced dealers are being extra awkward to avoid online only sales in the future.

Out of curiosity, did they offer you any accessories? When I asked they mentioned that they currently have no info on this, and again, we'll check and give you a call back.

I think yesterday was the first day the car was available. Dealer only called the day before to offer a test drive. Not sure if it made any difference but I had told Toyota Online that I needed a test drive before confirming I would go ahead with the order. The email requesting payment popped into my inbox about 30 minutes after I told the dealer I was happy.

They've told me it will be some time next week as mine is the first and it's a new process to them so they need to work it out.

I've asked them a 3 times about accessories, they last time they did came back with prices (over 500 quid for the ducktail) and when I confirmed I wanted the mudflaps they said they would check availability. That was over a week ago so I've given up.

They also weren't aware of my request not to remove wrap or screw in plates so had to reiterate that too as I'm going straight to PPF

Over a week is insane!

Where are you getting PPF done out of interest? I am tempted to go to SL Restoration opposite the road, although I have not enquired yet as my mine is a March delivery. Mt friend went there on one of his cars and it looks great.

My dealer has said it's on the notes from Toyota and he'll make sure it's noted for the PDI guys. Going down to see it this afternoon (y)

Have anyone recently used the Devtool to check status?

My car seems to be marked to be at Derby but have gone from "Current" to "inTransit"

Maybe it's actually on a truck now?

Phoned, they still don't have a date. Asked if it was before Christmas and said it's expected to be. But was put on hold for a long time so don't know what else is up. Part ex value should come through today.

Phoned dealer, it's "getting PDI'd" today, when I know it's been there ages. Asked if it will be ready by weekend and it should be but who knows anymore. This car better be here by Christmas or I'll have to look into renting a car over Christmas which will cost a fortune.

REALLY hope my dealer listens and sticks my rear plate on rather than spacing the holes just about as far apart is possible, like that one
The GRY has factory holes to screw the plate into also on the front it left 2 big gaps if you removed the plate holder to put a short plate on which I think is the same on the GR86 some guy made blanking blocks on a 3d printer to fill the gaps and sold them on the forum!
