Costco often has discounts on 225/40/R18 sets too, they recently had Michelin Pilot Sport 4 set of four for under £290 with fitting.

Hi Swizzle have a go selling through motorway no cost and I got 30% more than offered in PX by Toyota. All done I. 48hrs. Told a friend who had a 7.5 Golf Gti on AT not a single phone call for weeks and he sold for what he was after straight away worth a shot as it’s free.

Thanks, Will see what toyota come back with this time, wbac were £700 more than toyota last time i checked, motorway were offering less than wbac, as were cazoo, it’s an 8 year old school run hyundai, if its only a few quid i’ll just chop it in for ease of handover
 
Car buying group were really good with me. Offered me the best price. Cleared the finance and paid me the remainder before taking the car away. No quibbling when they turned up to take the car.

The car has been PDI, but we don't know if it's been registered with the DVLA yet, so hopefully we'll be collecting it tomorrow, fingers crossed.

In news that will shock absolutely nobody my car was supposedly being delivered today but hasn't been. Nowt from TGB. Nowt from the dealer. And MyT says it's still in Derby. Still no paperwork to sign either. Back to the usual TGB service standards after last week's blip 🥳

He will get an email from Toyota online when it’s registered and a final involve with a breakdown of what’s been paid for, first reg fee, tax, plates and delivery etc.

Got mine late this afternoon with a confirmation of collection scheduled on Sunday.
 
Guess I'll get that after I speak to the dealer tomorrow. So doubt I'll see it until next week.
 
At what point in the process do you get the email to “complete the paperwork”? Paid for mine over a week ago, was supposed to be delivered yesterday. There was an email after I’d paid to say I’d shortly be asked to login to mytoyota to complete the paperwork - presume this is for the registration/log book. Who‘s done this so far, and was this when your car arrived at the dealer?

Although I have heard that the specifications of the handle don't meet Toyota GB requirements, and all the mugs will be held in Derby for an indeterminate amount of time. Thank you for your continual patience!!

I sent TGB a query about this yesterday, as the car had been delivered, but I'd had no notification about the paperwork and got told this in response:

Hello Conscript,

Thank you for your email.
There is no paperwork for you to sign until the handover of the vehicle.
Everything is done on our end, just the final registration of the vehicle, which will be done once we have a confirmed handover date and time.

So I think I'm just waiting for a call from the dealer today to confirm when I'll pick the car up and then they do that.

I noticed the mounting plate for the car reg on the front, but how do they attach the plate to the rear - do they drill holes? I couldn't see any mounting holes on the rear...
 
I've said stick mine on, especially the rear as I plan to get a JDM sized plate and holder eventually. Need to decide on a private plate first though

Has anyone else recieved their paperwork from the online team, yet?

Typically they don't work at the weekend, so I can't chase them. Its another pain in the backside, the car is physically ready to go but the Buy Online team haven't told us to sign any paperwork. If this was able to be done at the dealership it'd be soooo much easier and we could collect the car today, but no doubt it'll now have to wait until next weekend.

fyi, I'm pissed off and my brother even more so.....

Nope. As above I was told that would be done at handover. Although that does imply the handover can't be at the weekend if they aren't working....
