Thanks for the feedback. I never tend to go for the usual black/white/grey/silver when choosing a car, given how common they are on our roads. Even so, the Electric Blue was brighter than I'd normally go for! It was a close choice between this and the Sapphire Blue.

Good to hear that the Electric Blue looks good even in overcast conditions, can't wait to see it myself.
 
Those of you who’ve managed to get test drives arranged, with which dealer?

I’ve been contacted by my dealer and told I can test drive this weekend, but it’s a 6-7 hour round trip. I’m hoping to sneak in a test drive today a bit closer to home (Hereford, so anywhere midlands/south wales) but the two closest dealers to me have said no because “the car isn’t PDI’d yet” and “we need to prioritise our customers first”.

That’s Cardiff and Bristol, FYI.

I’m with the Cardiff dealer - I saw the demo as it had just come off the lorry. They’ve told me the same - got to be PDI’d and taxed and I should be able to test drive next week- they said they’d call back to book me in but no call yet……
 
Just had to nip to Screwfix which involves passing my dealer (Gillingham). Looks like their demo has arrived, it was sitting outside the workshop with all its coverings still on. Guessing it will have its PDI done and be ready for test drives next week, but I took some photos anyway.

Marshall’s Cardiff here and I’ve been told the same. Earliest I can fit one in is Saturday due to work unfortunately.
 
Spent a small fortune on the last of the detailing gear I think I need. It's endless and takes a while to wade through reviews and bias some have. Got a plan of attack when it turns up. Hardest part will be resisting the urge to drive until it's done.

looks like they bodged that front number plate on, they should have used the threaded insets at the top of the holder

Mine is being driven directly to a detailer and being left there for a few days for the full works. Will be painful not having it again but I’m looking after this one!

Thanks, apparently the Bracknell one arrived last week but the sales person I spoke to happened to miss the bright blue car next to the front door she had been walking past for the last week 🤣
 
I got the TOL drive away insurance, quote came back £1380! Which surprised me given its about £1k more than the GRY quote or any other car I have. Just wanted the 3 days to be fair, I'll add it to Admiral when that expires :)
 
Parklands Toyota down here in West Cornwall have just, in the last day or so, received their GR86 demo.... I didn't know until I gave them a call this afternoon. Thought I'd pop over to have an actual look at one for real which would make a change after all the GR86 pictures online!! The car isn't ready to take out yet....
The guys there were very helpful as always and unlocked the car for me to have a look around at my leisure.
First impressions....... Much bigger than I thought as its difficult to get an impression from pictures. Really comfortable inside and a smart uncluttered dashboard etc.
This one is in blue but mine will be in red when it arrives eta April/May
I wanted to check in the glove box for the elusive 12v socket and found it...that'll be really useful!
I've attached a few pics showing the number plate for those that are interested on here.
