GR Yaris is anyone able to post/reply at the other forum?

I think you have to manually do for all subsections. Can’t remember how I did it but took a wee bit of Time to go through all individually, though was worth it in the end.

You can go to GR Yaris where their are 10 (11 incl GRMN Yaris) sub-forums. Go into each, click on watch and choose if you want to be alerted to new threads or posts. When you've done that every time someone posts in GR Yaris you'll see a notification or click on Watched > Watched Forums instead of What's New.

What's New includes everything and can only be filtered if all cars were lumped together - which would make it harder to find stuff.
 
Oh, and you're not allowed to criticise the moderator decisions either :LOL:
 
Given up trying to login there. They have shot themselves in the foot by making it restrictive.

Here is my two peneth.....vs admin (or the new owners whatever they are called), are there to make money....no ifs,no buts...end of.

They couldnt give 2 flying fXXXs about the GR yaris or if you like the software,they are all about revenue....slowly but surely the site will die a death,shame really.

They did exactly the same with the MLR (Evo website) and turned a once amazing forum into a ghost town.

They are known for their lack of communication.

Time will tell,but they dont seem,from what i can see to have a good track record.

I would expect things will likely get worse as well, more and more previously public parts of the forum might go private, or possibly even useful threads moved into private areas to stimulate users to go premium. That's just a gut feeling
 
So I asked them to delete my account and I got this

The two main players in fora are Vertical Scope and Internet Brands who continue to build their portfolio of forums of any subject, monetise them and then repeat. They are businesses and therefore in it to make as much profit as possible before the traffic disappears.

Although we do have some income, from our supportive vendors and you guys donating for stickers and mugs the difference is nobody is drawing any income from GR Zoo, we are happy to cover costs, improve the platform and build the community.
 
Whatever happens, is there a quick way of archiving the useful information before the forum goes south and a lot of useful stuff is lost?

The good thing about this kinda stuff is that it's all known in some way, so even if someone had to 'rediscover' things about the car, at least we know things exist... it does say in their TOS about directly copying content, so you know.. don't do that because that could in theory put this forum at risk if they got litigious... but any information about the car itself is straight fact, so you know... they can't own that.

Put another way, anything factual about the car could be re-written.
