GR86 UK Standard Equipment

Seems to be a dealer added option and only on 100 cars. At least it means the parts will be about to buy somewhere eventually
If the “Forged CP alloys” are similar to the BBS on the GRY they will be eye wateringly expensive to buy from Toyota , I believe the GRY ones are around £1600 each. I’m guessing the brakes are the TRD ones coasting around £4K here 🤔

I'd be mega peeved if Toyota UK suddenly decided to offer a Circuit / Performance pack.
Unless it'd be done when the car arrives at Port in which case sign me up.

Seems a bargain for forged wheels, bbk and cup2 tyres, bit annoyed that we weren’t offered that, same parts aftermarket will be 10-12k here.

Performance Pack on the GT86 was £1425 for Brembos all round , Sachs dampers and lightweight alloys ☹️

Yeah it’s annoying as it’s something a lot of UK buyers would opt for as the GR Yaris has proven. Strange that it’s only Spain receiving a circuit pack.

It will all depend on what each country have requested for their market , virtually every market is different

Any the alloys were 7.5", vs the standard 7".... meaning you could fit 225 tyres on with absolute ease. (cheaper and more choice, was quite a big deal to me!)

Seems as if Toyota are changing the spec of the UK cars.

Recent pictures of journalists cars have shown a lack of rear parking sensors despite it being listed as one of the features on UK cars.

This got me thinking. If you log into MY T and click on the GR86 order and then click on 'More' you can open a PDF brochure of the car you have ordered. When I originally downloaded this PDF brochure it listed rear parking sensors (with automatic object braking) as standard. If I now download the same PDF today they have been removed. Seems we won't be getting rear parking sensors in the UK. Bit sneaky of Toyota

I can see the same change on my order. I wonder if we will get the 8 speaker stereo as a replacement?!

Judging from the photos of cars in the UK it looks like the electrochroamatic auto-dimming rear view mirror has also bitten the dust.

Just had a look at the photos of the interior that someone took at the MR2 day, and it does look like it has the flip paddle under the mirror! Thought these went out in the 90's!

Lots of stuff that’s in the uk brochure is not in the cars, rear parking sensors, GR branded head rests, GR branded threshold plates, red stitching to gear-lever and hand break.
