GR86 GR86 Registration Numbers

Hi all,

Whilst we are waiting for the confirmation call from Toyota - I was whiling away the time wondering what registration numbers people have potentially lined up for their 86's!

Maybe you have a classic plate or purchasing something new just for this purchase - lets see how creative everyone has been!

I purchased a private plate Sept' last year for what was due to be my next car, a JCW Mini.

But they kept faffing around with delivery dates and I went off the idea.

So I've already applied to put my plate on when I put my order in LU71 KEE < at least I'll be easy to spot by forum members haha!

When your car comes let the online sales team know of your plate and they'll make sure it's on for you at pick up. I think you send them a copy of your owners cert or something.

A further change in circumstances led me to put a deposit on the GR86

The thinking? "GB ❤ GR" (a stretch I know, but best i could do for £250!)

As a bit of fun to myself I put EN21GMA on my last car GT86 believed to be the last / only registered 21 in the UK hence bit of an ENIGMA if you squint… I may put it on my GR86 when that comes as I am pretty sure it will be the only one in Herefordshire talking to my dealer i am the only one he is aware of getting one.

That was the other option I was considering I’m guessing that there will be a few “strategically” placed black screws on a few cars. I’m planning on double sided tape as , like a few folks , don’t want holes drilled

My private plate is boring in comparison to some of these as its just my Surname I have three that are nearly the same…. Now debating to buy another private plate
