GR Yaris Fitting Gen 2 lights on the Gen 1.

Recently I fitted the Gen 2 light on my Gen 1 GR Yaris.

I worked with Tegiwa to try and create a How to. Now I think I've done a good job and hope it helps anyone who is going to try and do it too.

There's no way I'd take a step-drill to my GRY.
Other than that, a good edit, but I'm not sure I like the idea of making your mk1, look like a mk2.. As time has told on other cars, the idea in the future will be to 'back-date' your cars.

I don’t think it’s about trying to look like a gen 2, each to their own.

as an alternative to Gen.2 lights... anyone tried to go the "WRC route"?!
(good chance that would be less costly and added 'race-pedigree' )

I've no idea why bumper removal is necessary as it makes such hard work of wiring fog and reverse light.
I just tapped into the loom inside the car.
Added to that it's easier to take earth and brake light from centre brake light in spoiler, then it's only necessary to run three wires through boot grommet.
Work smarter not harder...
