GR Yaris Tarmac Rally Build

Really nice project to follow, thanks for sharing. Despite all the technical changes, think my favourite bit looks wise is the arch ppf in black! Whereabouts did you get it from if you don’t mind me asking.

Thanks. Full company wrap needed next.

I imported it from Japan. Made buy Luck el SPORT. Hard to acquire but give of retro rally vibes.

Once imported and fees paid, about £2K. Took over 6 month for them to produce. There is a Japanese team that run this pod on their Rally2 GR.

Love this build! Video is cool! 100% would be going for Bigem suspension on my GR in the future when time comes. I like that everything with Bigem can be ordered as you want it. I would be going not full coilover on the rear and separating spring and damper as per how the car is in road spec as I won't be fitting a cage/rear shock reinforcements.

Look forward to seeing it with a Rally2 kit and wing. Saw Bonetto CV in Italy manage to fit a Rally2 kit on a road car the other week, unsure if it's a legit kit or some form of copy but it looks incredible! I have RedGrey and LightGrey Motorsport around the corner from where I live who are currently running the cars for the Rally2 TGR challenge program along with a few privateer Estonians all running GR Yaris Rally2's. Even this morning on commute to work I saw all the Recce cars parked outside. If I ever end up crashing mine, I will bring it back to life as a Rally2 kitted car (This is my dream!).

Yeah i contacted them about this kit. Id just like to see it in the flesh before committing. The Rally2 Yaris gives me the old WRC Subaru S11/S12 vibes being so boxy and wide... The DREAM!

Removing the front crash bar for a bigger intercooler is pretty stupid 🤦🏻‍♂️
