Event Japfest 2025 Silverstone 13/4/25

If you are interested in helping members park up on the day, then please drop me a message - we just need 2 or 3 people to help people line up and make the GR Zoo stand look presentable. You will need to be an early riser - see the pic below from 6.50am last year! Any help is very much appreciated and we are expecting somewhere in the region of 60 - 80 cars. With many staying at the Hilton in Milton Keynes the night before.

A reminder that traffic is always an issue, so please factor this into timings - club cars must be in place by 9am, with gates opening at 7am. Remember to have your Vehicle Pass printed off and visible, to help get you directed to the correct area and don't forget your individual entrance tickets too.

Japfest has also asked me to relay the following message:

As the administrator of one of the larger clubs attending JAPFEST this year, we would like you to help us to get all clubs in as fast as we can.

In previous years we have observed that quite a few clubs like to meet up before arriving and travel into the site together. This is normally not a problem, however if one of the larger clubs doing this then when they get to their club plot, we can end up with a huge queue of traffic waiting for all your members to park on the stand.

If your club is planning this kind of arrival, it would help us and other clubs if you could arrive in smaller group so you can get parked up quickly and reduce the queues.

Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Excited to see how badly the A43 roadworks right outside the circuit make of the inbound traffic. Easier job for all the vloggers if everyone's in single file, I guess :LOL:

Is there a plan for those leaving from MK stadium? I live in MK so was hoping to tag along on the morning drive to Silverstone, first time going so arriving with folk who know what the craic is would be ideal, feel free to DM instead rather than reply here if preferred

We normally leave at 7am from Maccies at the MK Stadium. 6.30am in Maccies if you want brekkie, then I lead a convoy to Silverstone, You are welcome to join us. My number: 07879630071. Times may vary slightly but let me know if you'd like to join.

Surely thats just the passing of flatulence after a 3 hour drive to find a long queue , all those chaps and ladys on the rev limiter driving in are simply stretching their legs to release a snidy fart...you will see lots of open windows to prove my theory :oops::ROFLMAO:

There's only one bar (I think) - hopefully some outdoor seating.
Last years, fun was curtailed and the bar closed early due to next doors 'bare knuckled boxing bout' and the expected clientele post fight . . .
