Who has the fastest GR Yaris on this planet?
Got a tempting idea to try to do a top speed run next summer.

I've seen +260km/h for mapped GR Yaris if the limiter is removed, but how far will it go?

A number without a unit makes no sense, just like my previous post ;)

170km/h isn't very special (the unit of speed in Germany), so I suppose you mean mph? Is that GPS speed? If so pretty fast. Any details about state of tune so to put that in context?

I’ve previously had 139mph GPS on the autobahn in the mk1 and mk2 143mph GPS. I’ve seen the boxes that can delimit but other than a trip to Germany not really much need for one.

Following thread to see what people are getting.

That would be MPH, obviously.

In Japan, 190km/h and it hits the limiter...hard. That's also about the top speed at 7K in 6th gear when installing the GR Parts close ratio and low final gear set.

The Gen2 will turn off the speed limiter when on circuit, GPS location verified :rolleyes:

Pretty sure it has to be bought through GR Garage. I may install it, but I still haven't decided whether or not I'm keeping the car. I hate that it's a garage queen, and I may change it for a Lexus LBX Morizo RR.

Just to update this I’ve now had 149mph GPS on the Autobahn with a boot full of wine. Guessing the map has helped get a higher speed but it’s still feeling electronically limited rather than mechanically.

I reached a limiter at 229,1 km/h for a very short time, I'm not sure but I think it was the speed limiter but it may have been the rev limiter in 5th gear.

This is interesting but like 0-100 kph it is academic. What I love about mine is the torque and mid range punch in the gears .

Drove an RR Morizo and thought it was odd they used the small SUV as rear room for the legless and no A/C vents in the back, for a luxo barge a big no no ! I am not old enough for it yet !
