The dealer discount of C3 ir 38 %, so in the end this comes to a grand total of about 14,142 EUR without VAT 😅
And that would be the cost for the one ordering, without making any money on it.

Definetly done on purpose so everyone wouldnt be having wanna be Ogier editions by just buying the spoiler, and repainting the calipers. Or door stickers.

so with carbon hood you are over 30k mark. good way to manage that no one is making replicas.

I think I’ve seen it mentioned but is the exhaust on the mk2 different other than the tips? Will a mk1 exhaust fit a mk2?

so back box is different, but maybe the 1st half is similar to Mk1?
Found it.

Found it.

Cheers

Hopefully somebody will make a high quality replica
It's a bit weird. It seems like half the population want that specific spoiler on their car. Surely some market investigation from Toyota would have shown this as well?

Can't imagine otherwise as well. In the making of videos they have even said the they have chosen the roof form for aerodynamics and to fully utilize the rear wing which the stock cars are simply missing. I always found the cars are missing something because of that. It's just like with Evos or WRX STIs that just look odd without one. I fixed that on my car but something official from Toyota would have been preferable of course.

It's even more annoying that Toyota seems to be aware of it. They have now made 3 special versions and all of them have a rear wing. Coincidence? I don't think so and if that's their way of making their special editions more enticing then that really sucks.

On a tech session & short test drive with Toyota.
We had the auto version to test.
On every day drive auto felt comfortable and chassis streering and engine sound has been improved from mk1. It was a short drive and couldnt take all the engineers off but wasnt assured of the throttle response in corners but it could have been engineer under the pedal aswell. Neat package overall.
Underside chassis seemed to have less protection in sills in front of rear tyres vs mk1.

It has the new grmn underbody but felt flimsy against aluminum underbody.

I liked the dashboard, though steering wheel still too far away to feel comfortable.

I visited a dealership today to look round a new one, unfortunately couldn’t drive it though as had been damaged during transport albeit very lightly on the roof but they won’t let anyone drive it until it’s repaired. It’s auto and in red, personally I felt the shifter for the auto felt and looked particularly cheap, it didn’t feel or look as robust as the manual one does. But that’s just personal. Really liked the cockpit positioning, steering wheel could have been a little closer but minor, view is significantly improved. Also took a closer look at the exhaust mounting points and compared to my mk1. Looks like the mounting points all the way down are exactly the same only difference is the position of the joint between downpipe and back box in that respect. The down pipe is longer. For the slip on exhausts like the akrapovic I think the downpipe would still fit as the pipe needs cutting anyway if using the original back box. Not sure on the width between the two tail pipes as didn’t have a tape measure on me but from the eye they look very similar just larger. I feel the front bumper with the additional air vents on the sides looks more aggressive in person. These are just personal views. I’m quite disappointed in the UK we don’t get options like heated seats, parking sensors, red seat belts and heated steering wheel but this is just trivial I guess.
