GR86 TPMS warnings

Are becoming annoying. Every journey the warning seems to come on - but if you stop and reset it settles down.

Anyone else suffering?
 
The only issue I had was in winter where the temperature was dropping low enough that TPMS warnings would trigger, even though TPMS had been reset to the recommended pressure. I got around it by letting all my tyres down to about 28PSI, resetting the TPMS, then just pumping the tyres back up to my usual pressure. Haven't seen a warning since, but I'll still get one in good time in the event of a puncture or something.

My TPMS has been pretty reliable, but suddenly at the weekend, I had three wheels go off at the same time! Fortunately I was just moving the car round the back of my house to wash it. Immediately I thought, WTF, have I just driven over a load of nails or something? But I checked the pressures and all perfect. I pressed the TPMS button a few times, didn't go away.

So after doing the wash, I took it for a drive and after a couple of miles it reset and the alert message disappeared.

I guess the car picked up some sort of radio signal that confused it?
 
Mine flashed up for the first time a few days ago after some heavy overnight rain (dunno if that was the reason) Driver front a rear passenger was showing as low 2.1 vs 2.2). Did a manual check and they were a bit low so put them all to 2.2 and reset, took a while for the sensors to show pressure and now driver rear and passenger front are showing 2.3 vs 2.2 :LOL:
 
It always whinges on track days on the down side of a tyre heat cycle. apart from that and the odd cold morning it's genrally ok.
Conscript's trick sounds worth a go.
