GR Yaris (Gen 2) Armijs GR YARIS MK2

Congratulations on the car! You are welcome to report on your impressions of the car. Is it your first GR Yaris, or have you had the previous generation? I have seen two gen2's in real life and both have had bad fit between front fender and bumper, see pictures (press photos...). It has been worst on the left side. How about yours?
Is this something that others have noted?
I dont know if my buddy took the bumper off while wrapping, but I don't think it is that bad

Thanks for the pictures, I think it looks better than the ones I've seen.
Do you know how it is with the gpf/opf filter, if it is like the last generation where it can be removed without getting error codes? Or if it is monitored with a sensor on the new model.

Good morning, here is a short video about the exhaust:

After taking all off

Can start spraying now, took 2 hours to dismantle and cover the car, the usual more or less, it was easier to take all arch linings and stuff than on other models like the rav 4

Thanks, it looks like before! So there shouldn't be any problems to remove the filter. Do you plan to do it? and welcome home a large part of the missing 20 Japanese horses.
Whenever they manufacture an exhaust with an electric Valve for the new model, ill be there, i liked the sound of Xforce for the MK1, and the price was also good. Just have to wait now.

Xforce exhaust

Looking at the catalogue, the japanese and european front part looks the same, in the diagrams, maybe there is nothing inside it but i would not be able to tell really.

Okay, XForce sounds nice on the GR Yaris, but if/when it comes, it'll probably be a gpf back system. So it's probably fine to "prepare" with a gpf delete.

As far as i can tell the exhaust for MK 1 was up to the catalyst/downpipe, no ?

And without VAT as i would be buying as a company, the price of 1350 EUR is a sweet deal, if you consider it is valved.

Double post : Will start spraying soon, dad is taking his sweet time, i have been up since a little bit after 4:00 :ROFLMAO:

It looks like that, then it's probably better to wait for a complete system that fits the new car. A great and affordable option!

Right, so, undercoating has been done, car is drying till Monday, tomorrow a lot of rain, otherwise I would be taking it out for a spin tomorrow, this is hard, have to be patient for a little bit more.

Next up on the menu will be putting on the TRD wind deflectors on Monday or so, and after that ceramic coating it.

And then putting on Hella twintone horns together with ledbar, while front bumper is off. Sometime in the next months before the long dark arrives, and off course the winter wheels.

πŸ˜“. Dont forget to glueβ˜πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ».
πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€” don't remember any issues when putting everything together on that arch, don't have pics from the other side, I'll take a look on Monday, but as far as I know everything was alright when putting all back

If it has been broken, i wiggled the spot a bit, the arch liner sits firm, dunno πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Today put on the TRD wind deflectors, and gave it a wash after undercoating it, next step sometime this week will be ceramic coating it and the rims, as all the sticky bits i wanted to put on have been put on.

Activated the ability to open and close the windows with the remote, and disabled rear seat belt reminder/chime so it does not scream if i put something heavier on there.

These rear light signature is awesome. Is it lit like this when brakes are applied or normally?
I’d say that’s without brakes as the 3rd brake light light is in the upper part of the light surround which isn’t lit.
