I've had my windscreen replace at the beginning of August by Autoglass. It broke while I was driving in Europe.
All good, but I think they might have adjusted the farside wiper, as it rests fairly upwards when the wipers are in "auto" compared to before.

I had a look on the MKV forum (where I am still banned for some unknown reasons, wrote to the admin, no reply) and there is this thread:

I trie loosening the 16 nut, but the arm doesn't budge (upwards or downwards). Not sure if the UK/US specs for wipers are different, I doubt it.
Anyone had the same issue.

Couple of pics of the resting position so far:

If it's the same as most wipers, you'll need to remove the plastic cover and large locking nut; lift the arm up from the knurled bolt, away from the windscreen (keep a hold of the arm as they try to spring off where they bend part way up). Align the wiper with the two clear marks that you can see in the lower dark area of the windscreen glass if you have them (they look like a - sign and you'll have to look closely) and push the arm back down so it locks onto the knurled bolt. With the wiper in it's correct position replace and tighten the locking nut. Test and reposition if necessary.

Just checked that forum link for you. Here are some extracts:
"The arm doesn’t need to come off. You push on the knuckle, where the blade and the base come together with the spring. Push here and you can freely rotate the wiper arm. Release pressure at the knuckle and the arm soft locks in place. The 16mm nut just keeps pressure keeping it locked in."

Thanks, I understood it the other way around, push instead of pull!
I’ll try again tomorrow!
