Is it just me or is the front windscreen heater blower malarky a bit rubbish?

With my car not being a daily I get condensation build up so I’ve deployed 2x1Kg Hillington dehumidifier bags (Amazon), one behind each front seat and a single 300g Pingi dehumidifier bag (also Amazon) that I sit on the transmission hump between the back seats. It makes demisting less of a chore.
Switch the air con on if you haven't already, it makes a big difference, it clears pretty quickly then.
I do the same, works a treat
