I'll comment more on it when I get it back as the value is relative to the work done, it could be good or bad and I may be crying...
The film is going to be Suntek Reaction which is meant to have good clarity, is self-healing and is precoated in ceramic. It has a 12 year warranty but we'll see what that's worth...
With the 10 year servicing plan and 10 year warranty, I seem to be taking a long-term plan with it all.
I'm still pondering if doing some underbody protection such as Lanoguard, ACF-50, or something else is worth it, but my dealer tried to persuade me not to.

They said that Toyota don't do it from the factory therefore they don't think it's needed. Surface rust is normal.
Also mentioned that coatings can cause water to be trapped under (I think this refers more to the rubbery coatings of the past, not liquid film/wax style) and that they make it messy and a pain to work on. They did however confirm it shouldn't affect the warranty.

The exposed painted metal in the front wheel arches seems to have been sprayed, maybe at Derby, with a black rubbery underseal, but nothing in the rear arches.
They both have the usual plastic liners and the underside is covered in plastic panels, so it's pretty well protected.
I have sprayed some clear Bilt Hamber Dynax UC on the steel suspension arms front and rear. The rear suspension is pretty exposed and the frame up above the exhaust, so a bit of protection will be good. Dynax dries clear and isn't sticky.

Have to say whilst I went with white in the end it was a close call against silver when I was agonising over which way to go (all the colours look great). Much like the white it does a great job of showing off the contours to the bodywork.
