GR Yaris What is this connector for?

Was test fitting some new switches today and noticed this little connector tucked away in the driver side foot well.

I've had a look around the car and found the HUD and heated steering wheel connectors discussed on the forum but haven't seen anything around this.

I can't find it/possibly missed it on the EWD. Will take clearer pictures tomorrow but looks like a black 2 pin connector with white and purple wires.

Any thoughts? The car is a 2020 UK circuit pack if that helps

I thought so too but looking into it I could not see it referenced in the footwell lighting kit and the connector seems wider than those used for the LEDs.

On a side note the door LEDs in the convenience pack are powered from one 20 pin connector on each side.

Funnily enough there's actually wiring from the fuse box present for the LED harness!

Unless I've got it wrong you'd basically need to make a harness for the door and footwell then pin into those connectors on each side. Seems simple enough and another thing for the to-do list...

But I'm so glad I bought Conv Pack and added Circuit bits was much easier than faffing with electrics and interior parts to do it the other way (but I was very lucky to get rear diff at such a good price)

I think the wiring diagram with the double arrow indicates a connector. This plug you have identified would be consistent with the wiring from the O78 connector in the wiring diagram.

Is there a similar plug on the passenger side with a yellow and black wire?

I couldn't find one in the passenger footwell. I did manage to get the harness from a JDM RZHP 1st edition. Looks like that plug connects to part number 89343-48010 which comes up as a warning buzzer for the parking sensors, hence why they're empty in a circuit pack.
