It's a quality product. When I was deciding which intercooler to go with, I asked C-TEC which core they use and why. I was told they have no allegiance with any core manufacturer, they based their decision on hp rating on the core size required. They did stress that plenty of core manufacturers are not even prepared to give a HP rating. They won't use a core which isn't rated. Garrett rate the core used by C-TEC to 660hp. They've been using Garrett product for over 20 years. They also stressed that using a Garrett core significantly increases their production costs, but with their first hand experience plus confidence in Garrett's proven track record, they feel it warrants paying the extra to use Garrett
