Toyota celebrates cricket’s finest

Toyota was the sponsor of the principal honours in the 2025 Professional Crickets’ Association (PCA) Awards, extending support for the sport that extends from the national teams to the grassroots game.

Toyota congratulates Jordan Cox, the Toyota PCA Men’s Player of the Year; Emma Lamb, the Toyota PCA Women’s Player of the Year; Rehan Ahmed, the Toyota PCA Men’s Young Player of the Year; and Davina Perrin, the Toyota PCA Women’s Young Player of the Year.

TOYOTA MOTORSPORT

Championships times three

Toyota Gazoo Racing has wrapped up three world championship titles as its international race and rally series near their conclusion.

TGR clinched their fourth consecutive FIA World Rally Raid Championship title at the end of September, followed by hotshot young driver Lucas Moraes claiming the driver’s title in a thrilling final round of the 2025 season. Read more here and here.

This success was quickly followed by Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team wrapping up their fifth consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturers’ title at the Central European Rally. The team’s top three drivers all remain in contention for the driver’s championship. Read more here.

Toyota micromobility study wins UK funding

A Toyota-led consortium has secured Government funding for a feasibility study for a lightweight battery electric vehicle. The project will be undertaken at Toyota Manufacturing UK’s Burnaston facility in Derbyshire. Read more here.
