you might be right!
In the service listing i got the same - level is checked but oil not changed. In my car it has been replaced every 10tkm

We recommend that Toyota owners carry out a 24,000 miles/4 Years full service as per schedule. Scheduling regular service appointments as per your vehicles service schedule helps maintain the health and longevity of your vehicle whilst helping prevent maintenance issues down the road.
Carry out 24K/48 month full service as per schedule.
Includes:- Replace engine oil & oil filter.
Inspect drive belt.
Replace windscreen washer fluid.
Check all fluid levels & top up as required.
Inspect battery for leaks, security of clamps & terminals.
Inspect cooling system, hoses & connections.
Inspect radiator & condenser for debris & signs of damage.
Inspect engine coolant.
Replace air filter element.
Clean air flow meter.
Inspect charcoal canister.
Replace clutch fluid.
Replace brake fluid.
Inspect brake pads & discs.
Check brake pipes & hoses.
Inspect manual transmission oil.

Check installation of drivers floor mat.

I'm using that sheet for servicing at my indy, but I'm replacing all the oils every year anyway
IMO: Service sheets are here to cheaply maintain your vehicle while under warranty. Manufacturers want to make sure it will last through warranty and want to show how maintenance is not expensive. I plan to keep the car for longer than warranty lasts, so do more frequent and proper maintenance.

Hmm, my first thoughts were, given the gearbox (which incorporates the front diff.) will work it's oil just as hard as the transfer box and the rear diff work their oils, then surely Toyota wouldn't allow it's GR gearbox oil to remain in situ for the life of the car. Yet they instruct to change both the trans box/rear diff. oils every 24K/4 years.
Why could this be?
Either it's a mistake on the checklist sheet or there's a significant mechanical difference inside?
Correct me if I'm wrong but the only thing that comes to mind is I'm thinking that both the trans box and the rear diff will have a bevel gear to turn the drive through 90 degrees but the gearbox unit won't? - Or maybe the trans box and rear diff are very compact units which each only use 0.5 litre of oil and can get a bit too hot when tracked?

I will give you a nod as that's a bloody good point. But unfortunately I haven't a clue what you are talking about, so will just let Toyota service my car knowing that if things go wrong I have the backing of their 10 year warranty.
