I notice some folk have gotten rid of the windscreen sticker and others have left it on - what’s the thoughts? Are they a pita to remove??
Mine is the least adequately aligned thing I’ve ever set eyes on so I’m minded to bin it - are they supposed to be a theft deterrent??

Looks like it would be a major ball ache to remove; mine's staying put!
 
I would’ve removed that before I’d driven off the dealer’s forecourt.

Awful, and it’s not going to deter anyone from doing anything.
 
Mine went instantly, Stanley blade to lift then peel. Glue remover for the residue.

If you leave it too long there will always be some residue left when you remove it, sort of works its way into the glass over time.
 
Wasn't there another sticker on the driver or passenger door window? Something about the door locking mechanism.

That got removed as well
 
Got that one and the one about the door locking removed by the detailer when it got ceramic coated. Looked like they came off fairly easily.
 
It came off really easily, hardly any residue. I then stuck it in the door shut, so I still have the numbers if needed.
 
I've left it for now as past experience with stickers the residue means it stays. Even when you think you've got it all, when it mists up you'll see the square where it was.
 
All factory stickers removed within a week from delivery.

Use glue and tar remover or some isopropyl alcohol to get it all off. I have no issues with any residue on the windows, but the longer you live them on, the worse they tend to get.

Yeah, good point - sooner the better
 
I only noticed it at the weekend and I thought is it something that the garage put on when I had it serviced? So I looked back at my older photos and sure enough it is there! Can't believe that I never noticed it before. 🙄
 
Wasn't sure if it had a chip in it or something actually security related.

Given it's just an ugly sticker, have removed.
