GR86 Summer/Winter Tyre Management/Storage

Two questions as a UK Novice, living in flat, do you guys pay to switch over once a year from Summer to Winter tyres?
I'm a dirty southerner so haven't ever seen much snow down here. More rain/wet/floods than anything else.
What am I missing?

1. Do you pay someone to Swap out and Rebalance your Tyres once a year on "Stock or Main" Wheels?
2. Have two sets of Wheels and Tyres and Swap them out once a year?
3. Where do you store your tyres if you have no space?
4. Is there a storage service or agreement to have your wheels or Tyres, and or Wheels AND tyres? Stored?
5. Obviously the most economical may be have two sets of wheels and tyres, but if you don't have the room to store them what are your options?
6. Don't know what normal people do? Vs enthusiasts?
7. Or should I just wear out my Pilot Sport 4s and buy a set of Pilot Sport All Seasons, or Cross Climate 2s and live with them?

I have the space but not the money. I will just keep using what's on the car throughout the year. In treacherous conditions I just dont push it.
 
I used to swap between winter and summer tyres but found it to be a bit of a faff.
Now I just run all seasons all the time.
Some dealers will offer a swap & store service I believe but I imagine that it's fairly pricey.
 
I’ve used the communal bike shed previously for storage..

Swap the assemblies myself but this is a good reminder that I need to buy a jack (have had to borrow one from my neighbour as one didn’t come with the car)
 
Built a tyre rack in the utility cupboard to store the stock PS4s, its tight but does fit. (1 bed flat)

Having said that I'm still running the all seasons, just haven't got round to getting the local garage to swap back to the PS4s.

I went down the two sets route. Wheels, Tyres, TPMS. Summer: PS4. Winter: Michelin Alpin 5. 100% the right decision for me.

No experience of all season tyres, others better placed to comment.

I store vertically in wheel bags, cool, light-free room.
 
I used to be an 'All Seasons' guy, but now have two sets of wheels, with the 'off' set stored in double wheel bags and then stacked in the garage, where they have a foam pad placed on top and serve as a handy makeshift table. ;)

My factory PS4’s (and car) are a year old this week. It’s my daily driver so I’ve used it all winter and the PS4s seemed fine tbh. Like you say, I just went easy in sketchy conditions
 
I switched to winters on steels, just need to find a dry weekend to swap the standard wheels back on and get some new rear tyres as i have an unrepairable puncture

1. I'm not sure how true it is, but if you swap the same tyres on and off wheels a more than a couple of times apparently it can affect them / the bead in them.

2. This is probably the better option.

4. A couple of years ago, I was speak to one of the staff at my local ATS, apparently at that time they offered a wheel storage solution, for this very situation. I'm not sure if its something thats still available. Your local Toyota dealer might also offer something similar.

5. Just run one set of wheels with the Michelin PS4/5, honestly for the little snow we get they are completely fine.

6. From my experience "normal people" run the same tyres all year round.
