Has anyone got any POSITIVE experiences of using any company that has successfully repaired a paint chip on their ride? A company they would actually recommend?

I'm based in North London, but happy to travel for a good result. Herts, Berks, Bucks, Surrey etc.

I’m on the same boat. Was looking for some DIY options. There are factory colour coded paint kits and touch-up pens available online.

Actually since posting this I've come to life with them. In a weird way now it's not perfect I'm driving it more enthusiasticly. Really enjoying the car and have got over my worry of inevitable stone chips. Definitely not a garage princess

Mine is getting a number of scars.
I suppose it will be repainted one day either by me or the next owner, but the more I drive it the more I think it will be a long term car for me.
Where I used to live I remember seeing heaps of older gentlemen who had kept their original shape WRX and STI and drove them for literally decades, this always made me happy for them as they obviously felt they had made a good choice.

Of absolutely no help to anyone I admit, but I find with stone chips: The more I have, the less annoyed I am about them.

The first, like your initial romantic rejection, is a very difficult thing to deal with.

I have a few now, and although I wouldn't say I'm in a blissful, zen-like state about them, I have a certain acceptance: a quiet acquiescence if you will.

Those who have spent four grand on covering their car in cling film no doubt have a differing perspective.

I love my cars, they are detailed every month, I'm OCD with servicing etc.... but they are driven

I use the chipex kit on mine for stone chips, when I follow the instruction and use the solution on wee pad to remove excess it works really well. I should add I’ve got “fridge white” gr Yaris so much easier than pearlescent paints to match.

can be bit daunting trying to keep up with evevatable recurring chips may be better off just leaving and do a one time respray

I've used chipex many times with good results, they even provide a small bottle of pearl for cars like pearl whites
