Hello,
I'm Keith from Ilford in Essex. I used to compete in the Toyota Sprint Series from 2012 to 2017 in a modified auto GT86 but, as I approach my label as an octogenarion - with reactions measured in minutes, not milliseconds- I've been the owner of a pre-owned Yaris GR Sport auto since October this year, which I purchased from a local Toyota main dealer with just under 40k on the clock.
I need advice - the handling of this mild hybrid is appalling. It's way too stiff, a real bone-rattler, in a bend it jumps from pothole to pothole. The performance is pathetic but in the New Year I plan to get it on a rolling road and get some feedback on this issue.
I've emailed my long-term expert - Adrian at Fensport - but he's not bothered to reply to my email. So anyone who is a fellow owner and who can offer me their experiences and recommendations would be very welcome. Gotta keep the car looking "standard" so no GR4 transplant suggestions, please.
Wishing you all a happy and trouble-free New Year
Keith
