GR Yaris Side Mirror caps

Inspired by the link posted by @N17whitehartlane recently…Anybody got these and fitted them (or similar type mirror caps?) I’m a bit lost with the instructions and unsure what the below means on the fitting options, and wondering how easy they are to stick on yourself. Are there already existing mirror caps or something?

FITTING INFORMATION

The cover must be applied over the original side mirrors.

In the purchase options you can choose between the cover to be glued directly on your original mirror caps (without original mirror caps), or having them already glued to the original mirror caps and therefore that will completely replace your original mirror caps (with original mirror caps).

Hi Dav1d, I agree the instructions don’t make a lot of sense.. however from my experience you would either bond/glue straight onto your existing wing mirrors. I believe they give you the option if your existing wing mirror covers are broken or you don’t have any? and they’ll supply original and carbon to fit.
that’s my guess

That’s brill, cheers. Yeah, I couldn’t see a difference in price between the two options hence the confusion but good to know! Being easily removable is the main thing for me.

I’ll have a think, it’s a shame the mirrors didn’t match the roof wrap from stock but only a minor point.

I’ve had my roof de-wrapped to expose the carbon so could go down the forged carbon wing mirror route as that would match lovely.

I ordered these 4 Days ago, but i don't know when they arrive. will make an update when i get them.

I got them. The caps comes with 3M Tape so its easy to install. I had some troubles to bring it in the right position. Next time i would order them attached to the Original Mirrorcaps, so that the positioning is correct.
