Sorry for another alignment thread. Couldn't really find one where coil overs were being setup for track setup with some compromise for road.
I'm after some setup advice:
To date I've been running stock suspension with the following setup in photo below, running with 255 ar1 tyres the balance starts out OK but then the front tyres start to overheat and I get a more understeer balance. At the ring this is during the 2nd lap when pushing on at 7 53 btg pace. I've done quite a few trackday with the car now some I'm fairly certain something needs improving in the setup. I'm also seeing a bit of a wear line on the fronts where I can see that the full contact patch is not being achieved at the front with my track tyres.
I'm about to have tractive suspension installed along with dna top mounts and rear camber bolts. My intent being a little more camber and also a bit more body control.
The car is used on bumpy roads as well as a few trackdays a year at spa and the ring.
What sort of small height drop would be sensible purely for performance purposes? Whilst maintaining plenty of suspension travel
How much castor should I add to the the front?
On my road tyres I'm wearing more heavily on the inner shoulder, would parallel toe along with 2.9-3 degrees be OK?
How much rear camber should I run to have a reasonable balance with the front?
From other posts people are suggesting 1. 5mm toe out per wheel rear, would this still be stable at high speed tracks? I don't mind some oversteer but also don't want something unstable when braking.
