I’ve been stripping the car to clean and add some cavity wax, and damaged a few of the retaining clips for the side skirts when removing them. I’ve checked the PDF showing the parts assemblies but can’t for the life of me find the section with the side skirts, and the retaining clips parts numbers!

Can anyone give me a steer?

Resurrecting an old thread, do you have any tips for the side skirt removal ad I'm just about to take mine off to do the rust proofing.

This is the procedure I used, That's the only way I found to remove the clips without damaging them or sealing o-rings.

Each side skirt has recessed segments with one or two clips in each. Unclip the plastic tabs at each end of a segment, then pull on it. The side skirt will slip over the lip of the clip bending the lip backwards. The clip will remain attached to the car body. This will give you better access to the side tabs of the clip using a thin, flat-headed screwdriver. The lip of the clip will bend back. This method potentially reduces clips clamping force a bit but it still holds securely when reused.

This is tricky to explain, but I hope it makes sense :)

Makes perfect sense thanks for that explanation, are there any hidden clips on the the rear quarter section? I can see one blue clip from behind the rear arch, is it just a good yank?
