Hello, is the stock rear view camera an only option available? Its capabilities seem to be a bit outdated, nothing plug&play in the aftermarket?

Better resolution/photosensitivity. Or it's a head display that kills the thing?

In over 4 years of ownership of a gen 1 and gen 2 I’ve never felt the reversing camera needed better resolution so suspect you’re not going to find a product out there.

Some people did replace the internal mirror with a video mirror using a camera housed on the aerial but don’t think it was that common.

I personally was just dissapointed that on a Corolla Cross the resolution/sharpness was much better although a bigger screen and same infotainment system overall than on a GR Yaris mk2, other than that it has been fine for me as well.

The mounts are different so the part number is different so would be hard to know.

It is a bit of a throwback isn't it? The camera on my 2019 Transit was like a 4k Attenborough effort compared to the GRY.
