Hi all,
Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same. That on warm days the suspension feels a lot softer with an almost under damped feel to it then on cold days it’s feels brick hard. I have checked the dampers and there’s no leaks anywhere but I’ve never driven a car where the outside temp affects its ride so much.

Yeah, noticed too. It’s been mentioned on other forums. It’s down to the price point of the standard Showa dampers.

I've read this elsewhere, and experienced it before. you're not imagining it :)

I felt this yesterday morning as it fell to 2 degrees. I thought it was because I check my tyre pressures the day before.

Maybe we need winter dampers, as well as winter tyres!

Yeah I notice a big difference.

In the peak of each season I'd say there is like 20% difference in the firmness of the ride. It was a driver for me to drop tyre pressures as the car felt rock hard last winter.

Yes, definitely agree the suspension has firmed up now the temperatures have dropped. Driving through the local village last night the ride was atrocious, admittedly the road surface is diabolical though!

Maybe the Winter months are a good time for track days with the firmer set up? My GR will be spending the winter in the garage and will be using my daily in the crappy, salty months.
