I’ve used clear wax oil in the past on a few of my cars (mainly the Japanese ones with hardly any Underseal on)

Looked online today to see how much it is and there’s adverts for lanoguard everywhere!

Obviously this is the new thing? Is it better than clear wax oil?

I just want to protect the underside of the Yaris at som point this summer whilst it’s dry

TIA

Not sure on the Lanoguard but I did mine three years ago with Bilt hamber dynax uc , a clear aerosol spray
Was under it last week and it’s still looking good
Easy to use , two cans probably plenty
I took all the shields off and did the lot

Problem is people get fixated about certain products and completely forget others.
There is nothing wrong with waxoyl, it does a perfectly good job for protecting your car.

Don’t believe the hype is what I say. Just use what you like.

Lanoguard has been around for a while they have just got a strong advertising campaign. Personally I would use neither of your choices and go for Bilt Hamber dynamax or Dinitrol, both those are very highly rated.

Any issues with the spray nozzles clogging up whilst you was using them?

I’ve used wax oil for decades, applying lanoguard is easier and I prefer the smell, we have sheep!
