Hello everyone!

I've been driving my GR for a few weeks now and am really happy with it. However, I recently noticed some issues with the Xpel Stealth wrap that covers the entire car, and I'd like to get your opinion or expertise on the matter.

Since Xpel isn't very common in my region, I'm uncertain about the experience level of the person who applied it. I've attached some pictures to show the areas where the application seems to have gone wrong.

I've reached out to my dealer, who was responsible for hiring the installer, and am awaiting their response.

My questions to you are:
Is there a margin for error when applying Xpel, given its thickness?
What could the installer have done better?

I appreciate any insights you can provide.
Thank you very much! đŸ™‚

I have Xpel on mine and you can barely see it. I dont have any of the lifting or bad joins you can see on yours.

That is shocking, to be honest. Looks like it's been installed by a trainee on their first day. If you paid money for that then you need to be making serious noises to the installer about replacing.

We stopped fitting full front PPF after 3 attempts, only one of which I deemed worthy of putting my name to. It's a proepr time consuming PITA to do right, and this has certainly NOT been done right.

The piece with the triangulr infil needs the paint inspecting once it's removed to ensure that it's not been damaged

The lifting part on the bumper near the fog light is due to over stretching the film. These pieces are usually a separate section to avoid such instances.

And there's simply no excuse for the bloodt fly.

Shockingly poor.

I'm pretty sure whoever did that would be removed from Xpel's approved list immediately

Sticky knows his onions. I only had the front and side impact areas protected with Xpel. The only time I can see where the PPF finishes are when the car is dirty. A good wash and everything is good.

Thanks for your feedback, matches the feeling I have about the installation. He went and fixed some stuff (only to make it almost worse).
I'm in contact with my dealer, who seems genuinely concerned and is trying to sort this out...
