GR86 NA tuning without ethanol

Seems not worth it. It's just a shame we don't have cheap and easily accessible ethanol. It seems if you want over 240whp in this country you have to go force induction.

I have seen some places do sell 200L barrels but it is still works out way over £4 a liter.

I preferred it over the stock car. Manifold + tune opens up the mid range quite a bit even on super unleaded.
However, considering the cat problem needs managing going forwards its quite a small relative gain for the pain in the arse it may cause.
If e85 were available, i'd have been tempted to try that on a NA tune before going turbo.
