Yeah would have preferred a top cover, looks like they use a bubble seal to seal up against the bonnet, don't think it will give a consistant seal, but would like to see and hear it in use.
 
Intakes are all getting a bit silly now. That is an absurd price for something that basic, has no exotic materials and in reality, has very little R&D. Their classic 'typhoon' kits of similar design from yesteryear were about £250-300. If its anything like the previous generation it will do nothing but add a bit of noise, heat soak and lighten your wallet.

Complete waste of money.
 
That's a disgusting price for a £40 cone filter, some pipe and a box. I have effectively the same on my vRS but a carbon fibre box and was less than £250 back in the day and even then I said it was overpriced.
 
There’s an install vid of this on 86 speed, bit of a mission to fit apparently but claims 8hp, also only $450
