GR86 Internal Boot Lip Hard Plastic Protrction Trimming

I am looking to use my boot for daily heavy pelicase, equipment and tools.
Has anyone found any aftermarket trim or protection solutions for the hard plastic internal boot lip?

The plastic strip where the hole is for the boot latch?

I’ve scoured AliExpress but can’t find anything generic or trimmings or stickers.

How about a roll of 3M clear car sill protection tape? You can just trim it to size. I’ve used some under the steering column, at the areas that I sometimes back-heel as I get out of the car. Would work in the boot too I think?
