Initial Suggestions and Feedback

At some other forums, that may or may not be Yaris themed, the links are just white in dark mode.

I do like the flares of red here though, link on the post reply button, and new... does make it look a bit more branded, but the red on black text is a bit tricky to read.

@corroded I don't believe the font has changed since the forum launched last month, so must be your đŸ‘€.

Agree the red should be switched out for something else. Green or Yellow perhaps

Also the forum section title is still in black, so that needs changing for dark mode

It is a shame the red isn't working well, as we lose the Gazoo colours without it.
 
Yeah, it's a shame, but I love the little flairs we still retain (under the current page, around this text box when writing it, and the post buttons etc)

I was looking at the layouts of Zoo and the other site, and while I root for this site to pick-up, the layout just isn't as good as the other site. You have to navigate through too many menus to get to the discussions.

For me, this leads to the fact that I almost never go through the GR-Yaris menu and select a topic, but instead only browse by What's new.

On the other site, the discussions are right there on the front page and the menus are much more descriptive with the latest discussion visible. This site does not give an immersive or accessible first experience.

Too many layers, too many menus.

We are looking into layout and navigation as mentioned in this post yesterday.
Any changes however need to fit within the capabilities of the forum software and accommodate multiple GR models.
 
One I've spotted is: Recently used emoji's don't save like other forums? Might be useful to some... :unsure:
