GR86 Hello Again

Evening all

After a few years out in the wilderness since I sold my Yaris, happy to report that I picked up a lovely grey GR86 today.

I logged back in here recently as I was looking for a grey one, saw that @Alex-GR86 had sold his recently & have been hoping it would pop up for sale (so far the only others I’d have considered were a VERY long way away!)

Have to say Alex kept it in beautiful condition and I had a lovely drive back home. Still taking it very easy though while I get used to it, but I’ve already discovered how much fun roundabouts are

Looking forward to spending some more time in here learning some of the finer details, but very happy with it. It even has a GR ZOO number plate

Very nice indeed. If you ever get a little weary of it's back-end twitch on the way to Tesco et-al, swap out the 215s to 225s at the next tyre change. It makes a world of difference.

Unlikely but thanks for the tip

First task is to find a cable that lets me hook up my phone to get CarPlay
The only USB C to USB A cables I have found so far in the house must all be for power only.

This is where a "Carlinkit 5 '2air' wireless adapter" comes in. You can get them on AliExpress for less than £20. As can be seen fitted in my GR86 here.

after I posted, I found a 15cm
Belkin cable on Amazon that should work. Will keep this in mind though, thanks
