GR Yaris GRY recall just had a call, anyone know what it is

Hi all, my local dealer just called asking for my GRY for a recall notice but cannot or do not want to say what it is. Already had the radar one before. Cheers

I have heard it's something to do with the SOS button/feature.

Much like the GR86. Have had the GRY for 18 months and now Toyota come up with this. Blimey.

I've heard if you press the button, they'll come to you to fix it...

If it is exactly the same as the GR86 SOS button issue then it's a very quick check/fix by the dealer.

as said SOS module, takes 8 mins to carry out once connected

Did this not get sorted last year? I'm sure I had recall work on the SOS button done in January 2022

I just read in 'the other place' that there's an ECU update which "is definitely up on power/torque, noticeable from the minute I set off"

I wonder if I can get them do do the ECU at the same time as the SoS?
