just use a black number plate backing plate/cover/surround...leaves a nice black boader round the plate and better looking than having just the lower advertising tab

Had a chance to look at @Hicko car yesterday , and the “dimples” aren’t that noticeable unless you are looking for them, rather they not be there but not a big deal IMO.

Picked my car up yesterday, mate who gave me a lift walked round and first thing he said was why are there dimples and should thye be there. They look really obvious on a silver car and the dealer put the plate quite high up so I have 4 visible. Own plate to go on so will play with heights to minimise visual impact. shame
