Looks like brakes similar to the GR Yaris are in the parts catalogue in Japan , along with other tasty goodies. I’m guessing Fennsport will be able to source these

@kinboshi, only jesting I’m sure Fennsport will have these in due course. However it does raise the question about a “Performance Pack” option for the GR86 with bigger brakes and coilovers I think towards the end of the GT86 lifespan there was such an option with lightweight alloys too, maybe @Lauren will know

I'm not sure there is any point in bigger brakes. The stock brakes were a well known weak point on the GT86. It didn't get coilovers as such in the Performance Pack, just slightly revised dampers, though the difference was very subtle. I've not heard anything yet.

Fensport have the parts on their website , unfortunately they aren’t cheap , but if the quality is good . How would this affect your warranty, if at all As these are official Toyota parts for the GR86 I‘m guessing that as long as they have been fitted correctly it shouldn’t be an issue

Not sure what you mean @Lauren , if the stock breaks were a weak point wouldn’t bigger more powerful brakes be a good move

My apologies, I did not write that well. The GT86 did benefit from a front calliper upgrade so that would make sense. GR parts or TRD may offer something as that was the way with the previous model.

@Lauren Thanks for the info. Fennsport already have the brake kit listed but they are pretty expensive, probably near £4K by the time you have them fitted.

It appears that mechanically the GR86 is very similar/the same as the GT86

Bigger motor & revised transmissions aside
