Here for sale is a very rare spec GR86 in ignition red which came supplied by Vantage Toyota Preston with the full TRD body kit as this was their launch car so also comes with the Nextbase Dashcam as standard.

I actually cancelled my allocation for a standard version and paid a premium for this one.

Upon purchase Toyota supplied the OEM GR quad exhaust, and coding to disable the engine noise inside the cabin, unlocking the passenger door and closing the windows from the key fob.

Since purchase, I also fitted the auto folding mirror module which activates on lock, GR86 puddle lights, auto lift bonnet struts, Carlink for wireless car play.

I’ve add a few upgrades but everything is OEM TRD parts.

Additional GR upgrades:

- GR Rain Guards
- GR Side Vents
- GR Rear light spoiler
- GR Aero Strip
- GR Boot liner
- GR Waterproof boot mat
- GR Knee pad
- OEM JDM Toyota car cover

The car has full Toyota service history with a 10 year warranty as long as the new owner continues to use the main dealer for the servicing.

The wheels are unmarked so the car is as new!

The private plate is not included (original plate will go back on).

My asking price is £35,000

A standard one goes for around £30,000.

I appreciate this is priced higher than the average 2022 but the spec on this car is very rare with low mileage at under 4700 miles and the add ons are not considered as modifications for insurance purposes.

This is not a cheaper Japanese import so the Toyota warranty applies until 2032!

Could you clarify why the body kit is not classed as a mod for insurance purposes?

The ducktail spoiler has to be declared as while it is a Toyota part, it didn’t leave the factory with it so it is a modification to the base spec of the car.

Happy to be corrected of course!

This is the Toyota Preston launch car so they were able to order it with the mods from Toyota. I believe only the launch cars had this option. When customers got their allocation - the only options available were the ducktail, mudflaps and boot net. When Toyota look up this car - the extras are on the list. I've also checked with the insurers each time and they've confirmed that these were supplied by Toyota so would be fine.
