Front Seat Size - Fitted Covers

Does anyone happen to know, are the front seats in the GR the same size as those on the GT86? To me they look almost identical, the only difference being the trim.

Reason I ask is I've seen a GT86 owner selling a fitted waterproof cover, and if it fits the GR seats, it would be handy for stowing in the boot for when I need to carry the dogs.

Might take a punt on it anyway, but if anyone knows for sure, it would be handy to know before making an offer.

I'm using a waterproof seat cover from my previous BRZ and it fits fine on the GR. I'm sure you will be ok

Just for the avoidance of any doubt for anyone who comes searching, the cover arrived today and fits perfectly. Even has little Velcro slits in each shoulder so you can still use the seatbelt guide.

It rolls up nice and small like an anorak so I can keep it stowed behind/under the passenger seat.

For info, here's one I found - they're made to order and was advertised as for the GT86 but fits well.
It's black - the light in the photo makes the seat part look lighter than it is - it's more like the colour you can see down the side of the seat.

Now need to clean the car once the temps get back to above zero...
