I recently got the Subaru USA, dealer fit Footwell Lighting Kit for the BRZ. Apparently it fits both US spec BRZ and GR86, so gave it a try.
There were a couple of issues mounting the LED lights, so not as straight forward for a UK car.
The kit is Subaru pt no H461SCC000
No instructions included, but a quick Google found the pdf online.

Wiring Harness
2 dimmable LED lights, Blue.
1 light bracket
2 M5 Nuts
2 Washers
Zip ties
Foam pad, anti rattle/noise deadener.
The wiring harness plugs into the interior light dimmer control, extending the circuit to include the footwell lights.
No issues with the harness or the routing, straight forward.
First Problem.
The bracket for the driver side light fits to 2 studs behind the knee airbag. The studs are at different centres on RHD.
Fix: Drill extra 5.0mm hole in bracket at 90mm Centres.
Second problem.
The passenger side light fits into a moulded hole and clip, in the lower of the glove box moulding.
There was no hole or clip in my RHD car.
Fix: Drill 3 holes in glove box to fit light and retain with a zip tie.
This is the hole pattern used, tried in a scrap piece of plastic first, then used that as a template to drill the car.
With zip tie,
I've not tried it in the dark yet, but the Blue lights aren't very bright.
They show up the pedals on the driver's side, but the empty passenger footwell had nothing to reflect, just black carpet!
The Blue lights can be swapped out for Red ones, most comments on the kit seem to be about preferring a Red option if it was available in the kit.
