I agree.

I don't use my GR86 as much as I should (WFH, OCD concerns and S.E England traffic) and sometimes consider selling. Then these articles remind me why I have it and there really isn't anything else for the money. Keep it!
 
Nice, which makes me all the more annoyed to see some slag it off, even those who've owned one and the previous ones, falling for the old crutch of power to mask their lack of ability. I really need to drive it more but have had some good spins with mates lately to rediscover our youth a bit which has been nice to do. I still intend to buy mine outright and it's mine then forever more. There really is nothing else like it. It was actually amazing up the Blacks a few weeks ago, even with a rough surface in parts. The 86 took it all so well. In bike terms it's like my 765RS. There are faster ones in a straight line but for flickability and handling sweetness, while being refined where it matters, there's not much else.

Ah bollox to that. Ten year warranty innit - worry about that when the time comes!

Also: "There were just three paint options: red, white and black to match GR’s brand colours".

Dunno what I've bought then. Perhaps it IS a Supra after all...

Mine isn't going anywhere soon. I just hope my soon to arrive first born doesn't inherit my wife's insanely week stomach when it comes to travel sickness so I can finally have a road trip buddy 🤣
 
You’ll have a few years of the perpetually dribbling, sticky handed, covered in food etc phase to endure before that happens either way. 😂
