I was looking at the air exit from the engine bay in the summer. I noticed that a n other had made air vents for the bonnet.
I respect his idea but did not like the optics of his 3d printed solution.
It seemed to me that there was a route out of the engine bay and exiting thro the front wings behind the wheels, if you take a look at the cars structure his seems relatively simple.
In addition an air exit is available towards the extremities of the bonnet by the windscreen. The rubber bungs in the engine bay can be removed and the rubber strip at the rear o the bonnet.
Now, looking at the GR Corolla it has vents in just those places.
Go figure.

not sure if those vents provide sufficient flow although they do help a little.
I have also done my bonnet louvre trip and there's many options available. Still not sure if really needed. Depends how hard you are pushing.
