GR Yaris coating

Hi All,

What is everyone's opinion on ceramic coating before a clear rap?
I have seen this thread before but i want a recent advice from peoples view

I've got PPF and ceramic coating on mine.

I presume the ceramic was always on top to make it easier to wash.

Actually have no idea if it was applied before or after.

What I can say though is it's definitely kept the front end chip free after 39k miles, especially when you see the front radiator which has got loads of small dents in it.

Ceramic coating is always on top of the PPF (despite many saying it's not worth doing on PPF), If you had ceramic on the paint, the PPF wouldn't be able to bond properly.

As said... Ppf is done before ceramic coating.... Or if its been coated then it has to be removed via machine polishing before the ppf is applied or it won't stick properly.

Just make sure the coating used is compatible with ppf, alot aren't.

A few of my customers cars have had the machine polishing done by me... Then sent for ppf... Then a good quality coating ontop. ..as well as wheels/glass/calipers coated etc.. As Pic. (full extended front end ppf + whole car polished)

The customer was a bit worried that half the car with ppf would look different to the other half and the paint would be "dulled down" but it was perfect. The xpel ppf was great,and mated to the machine polishing resulted in a awesome gloss.
