Gave gr-fun's lovely GR a well deserved pamper last weekend... The car has been totally machine polished and ceramic coated (proper stuff not the spray crap that lasts a month tops! )by myself on a 3-4 day detail over 6 months ago.. . So it was so easy to clean and came up brilliant.

Some shots....

Looking good!

What do you use to get at the wheel barrels on the front wheels? Any tips on brushes that can get in there?

Hi... EZ Detail wheel barrel brush...about £15. 👍🏼

Valet Pro small brushes for wheel faces. Or carpro small soft detail brush.

Multi purpose cleaner... Rinse... Iron x... Agitate in.... Rinse... Snow Foam... Rinse. They are already coated so come up like new.

Ta, it’s one I’ve had an eye on, but wanted to be sure it’d get around the backing plate. Gives me an excuse to put in an order for a couple of bits and bobs 😊

White wheels and these brake pads are a nightmare. Having a coating definitely makes life so much easier though!

Staying on the cleaning theme.

I now have access to an outside tap which I would like to take advantage of when cleaning my GRY. Up until now I have used the pressure washer at a local garage to get the worst off and then brought the car home and cleaned with shampoo using a bucket and mit, rinsing off with a watering can. I have a hose pipe to attach to the outside tap but nothing else. Would anybody recommend a pressure washer? If so recommendations including attachments and products would be appreciated.

I have a Karcher K4 and you can vary the pressure from the lance from a drizzle to strong fan it is very good. Get a snow foam gun. I use Autoglym Polar blast foam and wash it clings for ages and does a good job.
