GR Yaris (Gen 2) Carbon fiber roof fading

I just picked up my Gen 2 GTS and the carbon fiber roof has started to fade in white colour any advice ?

The dealership says it was fine when I got the car which was one week ago & now I’m stressing out the only thing I have done is a pre soak, soap & rinse at the car wash. No sponge or towel used.

Try coating with gtechnique halo, use on my mk1 and protects the film and makes water bead off.

This is definitely a warranty issue if it’s not possible to wash off.

These wraps are funny.

Compared to most, I treat mine like shit* and it basically looks brand new. I've occasionally seen some smaller whitish patches like these appear and then disappear, but I never did anything concious to cause or resolve them.

It seems that the ones which are most affected are those are pampered with various expensive fluids and and treatments!

Maybe a lesson there, being lazy/tight is good?

*seriously, it only gets washed a few times a year and I just use whatever auto shampoo was on offer
